Spartan Racing
San Jose State University’s Formula SAE Team, Spartan Racing, is embarking on it’s ten year anniversary and is looking for your help to fund our 2018 race car! For ten consecutive years, Spartan Racing has given San Jose State students the opportunity to enhance their engineering, design, and project management skills by applying classroom theories in a challenging and collegiate competition.
We need your help to purchase essential parts, materials, and testing equipment. A single car can cost over $120,000 in expenses! Thanks to a number of corporate sponsors, the majority of this funding has already been secured, but with your help, we can acquire the final pieces we need to make a competition-ready car. Our team works year-round investing an immense amount of time between classes and work to build our entry into the Formula SAE competition. By participating, students gain valuable real-world experiences and create a strong base for their professional career. Your donation will go directly to Spartan Racing and help our program continue to grow!
