A virtual classroom experience from MLMLs for you!

May 03, 2017

Hi everyone,

We’ve just wrapped up Open House but the chance to support student scholarships isn’t over! Our crowdfunding campaign has LESS THAN 10 days to reach our goal. Thanks to those of you who have donated! You can still help by spreading this campaign on social media or e-mailing the link to others. And DON'T FORGET, we’ve got some great perks to donating. For example, Rockfish and Ghost Shark donors have the opportunity for an MLML graduate student to speak virtually to a classroom of your choosing! Curious what it's like? We've included a Google Hangout with student Vicky Vásquez of the Pacific Shark Research Center, hosted by Sharks4Kids.

Thank you,

Graduate Students of Moss Landing Marine Labs

Hi Everyone,

Open House is around the corner so we wanted to send a big thank you to our initial donors who have helped us kick start our scholarship funding campaign!  To everyone else reading this, please join us in helping to raise money for student scholarships and come out to celebrate this weekend while enjoying research updates directly from our graduate students. If you can’t attend, you can still support by donating to this crowdfunding campaign and sharing it on-line.  Here's an example of the research MLML student's have accomplished. View our crowdfunding page here to give now and make sure our students continue to have access to these types of opportunities!

Thank you,
