Men's Water Polo

The San José State Men’s Water Polo Program is the reigning “Team of the Year” award winner at the SAMMY’s for all-around excellence in the classroom and in competition. The team has carried that momentum into the 2022 season, consistently ranked among the top 15 teams in the nation. 

With the University’s Day of Giving, the Men’s Water Polo Team is seeking your help to support a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel abroad as a team to Budapest, Hungary! The 10-day training trip will involve competitive matches against prestigious water polo clubs of Honved and OSC. The Spartans will also have dual training with senior and junior teams as well as individual clinics with former Hungarian National Team players. It will also be a homecoming for five players competing for the Spartans who hail from Hungary.
