Women's Tennis

The San José State Women’s Tennis program has enjoyed great success with three conference championships in the last decade, including the 2021 Mountain West Championship! Now the team and head coach Chad Skorupka are seeking support to fund a permanent display for the championship hardware inside the Women’s Tennis Clubhouse. 

“Our current players and the program’s alumni are incredibly proud of these achievements,” Skorupka says. “We want to show our fans and recruits who enter our building that Spartan tennis is a championship-level contender. Displaying these trophies provides a constant reminder of what this program aims to achieve every year”

Funds raised on the Day of Giving will go directly to the women’s tennis team to fund a trophy display case which will sit front-and-center in the entryway to the clubhouse on South Campus. Additional support above and beyond the cost of the display case will be applied to the team’s operating fund for team travel, meals, recruiting, etc.
