Women's Water Polo
The San José State Women’s Water Polo team achieved the top team cumulative grade-point average in the country with a 3.74, as recognized by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).
Pomona Pitzer and Stanford tied for second at 3.72. Individually, a program-record 16 Spartans were recognized as being champions in the classroom by being named to the ACWPC All-Academic teams.
To reward this tremendous success and incentivize future Spartan to achieve excellence in academia, the Women’s Water Polo team is raising money for Alston Awards - a comprehensive program allowing student-athletes to earn education-related financial payments based on academic success and participation in career development activities.
All money raised through this page on the Day of Giving will support this initiative specifically for the Women’s Water Polo team. We thank you for your incredible support! We are #AllSpartans!
