Spreading Joy through Salsa

Help Spartan Mambo students prepare and travel to competitions and festivals to further grow our knowledge and skill in Latin dance styles.

Who are we?

Spartan mambo is a clubsport dance team that cultivates students’ passion for Latin dance styles. We create a space and culture within the team where students feel like they belong while expressing themselves through dance. We share our talent and knowledge by performing for the student body and around the South Bay community.

Why are we raising the money?

Spartan Mambo hopes to attend the San Luis Obispo Salsa Exchange this coming March and the Collegiate Salsa Open in Los Angeles this coming May. These events include workshops, performances, and competitions. They will provide opportunities for the students in our club to grow their knowledge and skills in dance to bring back and share with our community.

How can you help?

We need your help to make this happen! Expenses for these events include costumes, transportation, and tickets. Please donate today so we can prepare and bring our students to these events. Thank you for your support and share our page with others in your community!

A gift at this level will help purchase meals for the students during these trips. These funds will provide food that fuel the team for performances and competition.

A gift at this level will help provide transportation to and from events. These funds will allow for our large team of around 40 people to travel comfortably.

A gift at this level will help purchase costumes and shoes for our dancers. These funds will allow our team to participate in the salsa and bachata culture in a bright and fun way! Donors at this level will receive a shoutout on instagram!

A gift at this level will help the club purchase choreography and pay coaches to allow for more advanced choreography and technique. Donors at this level will receive a Spartan Mambo water bottle and a shoutout on instagram.
