Extra time to make a difference!
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
In case you missed our other emails, we were able to get approval for some additional time to reach our goal! Thanks to the momentum from our generous donors, the new campaign end date is now extended to 11:59 pm on March 29th.
We have a little under 2 days left to go and are already 75% of the way to our goal! If you haven't already done so, please make your gift today. Even if you've already donated, you can still help by sharing our page with others.
In the video below, you can learn what the new Play Yard would mean to the Child and Adolescent Development (ChAD) students and the children who use the Toddler Lab.
Of the $7,525 we have raised thus far, $5,000 will cover the demolition of the existing play structure. Any additional funds will go towards purchasing the types of play yard structures shown in the image below.
Please make your gift today to share in making this project a success!
Thank you for your continued support!
Sincerely,
Joy, Jessica, Julia, and Erin

Last Week to Make a Difference!
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Our Play Yard Campaign will be coming to an end in a few days and we are happy to report that we’ve reached 50 percent (just over halfway) of our $10,000 goal. This is an amazing accomplishment! Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Lurie College Toddler Lab is well on its way to removing its old play structure and installing a more inclusive play yard for this upcoming Fall semester. This new and impactful space will nurture all areas of toddlers’ development and play, allowing Lurie College students to learn more about and train for working with young children.
There is still time to help our Play Yard Campaign reach our goal! Please visit https://power.sjsu.edu/lurieplayyardto make your first (or additional) gift today and consider sharing this website with anyone else you think might be interested.
On behalf of the Play Yard Project Team and Lurie College’s Child Development Lab Preschool, thank you for your incredible support in making a difference for future students, toddlers, and their families. We could not have reached this milestone without you!
Sincerely,
Joy, Jessica, Julia, and Erin
