Dear fellow Spartans,

As a former player, it is difficult to put into words what the SJSU football program means to me. I was invited as a “walk on” (recruited by Coach Brennan) to the football team in 2007 and earned a scholarship shortly after. If not for this program giving me a chance, I am not sure I would have ever attended college. During my time at SJSU, I made lifelong friends and business relationships that are truly priceless. This is why I feel that it is important to do our part and give back to a program that genuinely does care.

San Jose State Athletics and the Spartan Athletics Fund have launched a Giving Tuesday campaign for an opportunity to give back this holiday season amidst the business of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. As a part of the Giving Tuesday campaign, I will be matching all New Spartan Club membership gifts of $50 or more to the Spartan Athletics Fund, up to $2,500. To make your gift, click here.
