Also known as the rainbow trout, this anadromous species of fish is a keystone species in the Santa Clara Valley watershed. A donation of this level will allow our team to purchase basic hardware to supplement our modular design approach.
$100
Chinook Salmon
Chinook Salmon are the main focus of this project, a donation of this level will provide our team with much-needed sensors and microcontrollers. These tools will be used both for testing and data acquisition purposes.
$250
Martinez Beaver
This beaver is sometimes known as nature's ecosystem engineer. These animals were so heavily poached for their fur that only recently have they been coming back into their natural habitats. A donation of this level will allow our team to purchase a battery management system that will power the entire vehicle.
$500
Snowy Egret
One of the many birds of prey that live in the Santa Clara Valley watershed, this hunter wades in shallow waters waiting to ambush small fish. A donation level of this size would allow our team to purchase a high resolution low-light underwater camera.
$1,000
Great Blue Heron
The apex predator of the Guadalupe River, this bird represents the largest donation level. A donation of this size would allow us to purchase a high-quality sonar sensor for detecting nearby objects such as the river floor, driftwood, and most importantly fish!
