Spartan Racing Baja

The Spartan Racing Baja is an entirely student-built and fundraised car, designed and built to compete in the annual Society of Automotive Engineers Collegiate Design Competition. The goal of the club is to enhance the skills and knowledge gained in the classroom and help students develop new ones. This is done by providing the opportunity for real-world research, design, manufacturing, and business experience, all the way throughout the product development process. 

The funds raised from this campaign will be put toward the completion of the 2020 SJSU Baja Racecar. Specifically the chassis, costs that we will incur from the mandatory rule change to a 4 wheel drive system and the competition registration costs. The car obviously can’t be put together without a frame, and going to the competition to see our car perform is one of the most rewarding moments of the year. This is where we get to see all our hard work come to life! The purpose of this campaign is to help us complete the manufacturing process and travel to the competition, but we need your help to accomplish this!
